The Data Science group at Yahoo Research is looking  for outstanding PhD research interns for the summer of 2021. The students will work with a team of world-class scientists and research engineers to do research and to solve real problems by mining massive amounts of data, with a goal of publishing at top-tier conferences. We are looking for candidates with an outstanding research record and implementation skills in areas such as data mining, applied machine learning, NLP and computational security. 

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program with focus on data mining, applied machine learning, visualization, NLP, computational security or related fields.

• Strong publication records.

• Strong algorithmic problem solving skills, and proven ability to implement solutions.

• Senior year PhD students preferred. Students studying in the US only.
