Research fellowship at CIMeC / DISI, University of Trento
Job description
A post-doctoral position is available at the Center for Mind/Brain Sciences (CIMeC) and the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI), University of Trento, to work on the project “Fostering the understanding of diagnostic test results and vaccine efficacy through Cognitive-Artificial Intelligence”. The call is open to researchers with experience in Artificial Intelligence and/or Cognitive Science. The research fellow will be part of an interdisciplinary research team and is expected to develop and implement AI-based intelligent tutoring systems under the supervision of prof. Andrea Passerini as well as to run online behavioral experiments under the supervision of prof. Katya Tentori.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has a background in Computer Science, Math or related fields, and a strong research interest in Cognitive Science. Candidates must be fluent in English and must have basic knowledge in machine learning as well as solid programming skills in Python. Experience in running behavioral experiments involving human participants and/or developing web applications (Flask, JavaScript, etc) are not mandatory but are preferred, as is a demonstrated ability in writing research manuscripts.

Conditions of employment
The position is for full-time employment for one year, renewable for a second year. The expected starting date of the appointment is end of June (negotiable).
