The Idiap Research Institute in Switzerland has two openings for
Research Scientists - group leaders - in the general area of AI and
machine learning.

* Research Scientist in Foundational Machine Learning
We seek a Research Scientist to conduct research in foundational machine
learning, who would be interested in translating these advances into
impactful solutions across application domains or data modalities (e.g.
language, vision, audio, video, graphs, time-series). The position has a
level of responsibility of an early career independent group leader.

* Research Scientist in AI for sustainability
We seek a Research Scientist to conduct research in AI for
sustainability and leverage the potential of AI in the specific context
of Valais – a Swiss alpine region known for its natural resources and
local economic activity. The position has a level of responsibility of
an early career independent group leader.
