The Department of Computer Science (https://www.cs.uci.edu/) at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for tenure-track or tenured faculty positions beginning July 1, 2023.  This faculty search targets applicants with research expertise in all aspects of artificial intelligence and machine learning, broadly interpreted.  We seek to build on and broaden our existing strengths in machine learning (https://cml.ics.uci.edu/), data science (http://datascience.uci.edu/), algorithms and optimization (https://sites.uci.edu/acoi/), ethics and accessibility (https://create.ics.uci.edu/), and the societal impacts of AI (https://ucinoyce.org/).
