Faculty position in ML at the Cyprus Institute

The Cyprus Institute invites applications for a faculty member at the rank of Assistant or (tenured) Associate Professor in the broader area of Machine Learning, to join the Institute’s CaSToRC Research Centre on a full-time basis in Nicosia, Cyprus.

The selected faculty applicant will enhance the competencies of the Institute in one or more of the following research areas:

(i) foundation models and efficient training/adaptation methods on HPC systems,

(ii) generative AI and multimodal learning,

(iii) causal representation learning and counterfactual reasoning,

(iv) robustness, safety, and trustworthy ML (including interpretability and fairness),

(v) continual, federated, and edge learning,

(vi) ML for scientific discovery.
