Hello
Two new job opportunities have opened up in my lab in Dublin

The machine learning work involves classification, clustering,
sentiment analysis and summarizing of text. Personalisation of web
experience. Recommendation using collaborative filtering and other
machine learning techniques. Geographic demographic analysis. Analysis
of log files to work out customer behavior. All sorts of things
really, there are constantly new challenges and puzzles to try to work
out.

We use Weka, Mahout, R, SQL, Python and various Java libraries any
technology you are familiar with and can get good results out of will
be welcome.
In terms of qualifications we are most interested in an ability to
deal with new problems and a passion for using algorithmic techniques
to figure out how things work rather than a particular level degree.
Most of the staff here do have a PhD in machine learning or related
areas of CS but a PhD is not vital, Basically these jobs would suit
someone who is passionate about machine learning technology and is
articulate enough to explain their solution to problems as the arise.
