You represent the area of safe autonomous systems, for example:
· autonomous mobile robots
· embodied AI
· simulationbased AI
· autonomous systems
in research and further develop this at a top international level. In doing so, you participate in research networks and cooperations within and outside TU Dortmund University (e.g. Lamarr Institute, Research Center Trustworthy Data Science and Security, Fraunhofer IML and KION GROUP AG) and are committed to promoting early career researchers. In teaching, you participate appropriately in the teaching activities of the department.
Your qualification:
You obtained a doctorate with above-average success and acquired a post-doctoral lecture qualification. You demonstrated your research excellence in the field covered by the professorship through continuous international publications in recognized peer-reviewed venues and were successful in the independent acquisition of competitively awarded third-party funds. Beyond this, the international visibility of your research is expected.
