Dear students and colleagues,

we have 4 open, exiting PhD (and postoc) positions on knowledge-centric machine learning funded by the research group Themis (https://bckrlab.org/projects/2022_themis). We are a new and dynamic machine learning group in a beautiful city at the ocean (Chair of Intelligent Data Analytics, University Rostock) with an international network including for example Stanford, UC San Diego, and UNC Chapel Hill. If you are interested in impacting real-world problem settings using cutting-edge machine learning, e.g., in the context of (bio-)medicine and environmental change, you should apply to our group! The deadline is February 22.

Here are more details about the job posting:  https://bckrlab.org/join-us

We are looking forward to applications and it would be great if you could circulate the job posting to interested Ph.D. students.

All the best,
Martin
