Hello!

This is to announce...

Special Issue on AI-Driven Innovations in Air Traffic Management and Aviation Safety

Message from the Guest Editor
The Special Issue “AI-Driven Innovations in Air Traffic Management and Aviation Safety” explores how AI and machine learning (ML) are transforming airspace operations. As aviation data grows and operations become more complex—especially with new airspace entrants—automated, data-driven solutions are increasingly vital. This issue seeks contributions that integrate aviation expertise with AI/ML methods ,including deep learning and generative AI, to improve safety, resilience, and efficiency. Topics include AI/ML for decision support, real-world deployment of automated tools, generative AI for unstructured data, responsible AI practices, verification and validation ofAI/ML systems, and AI as a service in air traffic management.
