1 PhD and 1 Postdoc Position in ML

The Machine Learning and Data Engineering group at the Department of Information Systems at the University of Münster (Germany) is offering a PhD and a Postdoc position in Machine Learning/Deep Learning. Starting date is (expected to be) 1st of November 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter. The application deadline is 15th of September 2023.

The positions are offered in the context of the AI4Forest project, which brings together experts in artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, computer science, spatial remote sensing, and climate change. AI4Forest strives for both conceptually novel AI methods for forest monitoring as well as for scalable AI methods that allow to process large amounts of data efficiently and at low cost. The research will be conducted in a close collaboration with the AI4Forest project partners in both France and Germany as well as together with other international partners.
