The Department of Mathematics at KTH, Stockholm, Sweden is looking for at least one PhD student in the mathematical foundations of ML, specifically at the intersection of probability, analysis and ML.
Students with a strong background in mathematics in general, and an interest in topics related to machine learning, are encouraged to apply. There are no formal requirements about previous experiences in specific areas. The position is funded by the national research program WASP; see https://wasp-sweden.org/graduate-school/ for more information about the program and the associated graduate school.
