Hello!

I would like to share with you a PhD job opening in the Netherlands, at the Delft University of Technology. The focus of the PhD would be signal processing and machine learning applied to multimodal molecular imaging, for example imaging mass spectrometry and multiplexed microscopy data. Given the interdisciplinary nature of our work, we have a close collaboration with biologists and chemists from the University of Vanderbilt, in the USA. In the Netherlands, a PhD is a four-year research project (with teaching responsibilities), and PhD candidates are paid a gross monthly salary between approx. 2200€ and 3000€. You need to have a Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, statistics, data science, bioinformatics or a related field. You would need to move to the Netherlands. A good level of English is also required. The job offer in the attachment has a list of scientific publications that are representative of the work we do. The start date of the PhD is flexible. You can contact the leader of our research group, Dr. Raf Van de Plas, by email (raf.va...@tudelft.nl) to have an informal conversation about the position if you are interested.

Kind regards,

Léonore
