Dear All,

 

We are seeking highly creative and motivated prospective PhD students to join the School of Computing and Information Systems at Singapore Management University.

 

Accepted students will pursue research in the following topics (but not limited to):

1) Human centered AI & Human-AI collaboration:

  • Enabling control of and collaboration with AI
  • Fairness, Accountability, Transparency, Ethics, and Reliability of AI
  • Technical or sociotechnical issues related to the creation and use of AI

 

2) Machine Learning for Health:

  • Multimodal representation learning (videos/images + texts, etc.)
  • Self-supervised learning

 

The accepted students will receive a scholarship to cover the tuition fees and a monthly stipend.
