Research Assistant Professor in Biological Image Analysis
at the University of Tokyo

The University of Tokyo invites applications for a Research Assistant Professor position beginning on January 1, 2020, or as early as possible after this date. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in the field of biological image analysis and computational microscopy (specifically, cellular image analysis with Python, Cell Profiler, etc., coding for cellular image analysis in C++, and statistical analysis with R). A Ph.D. or equivalent degree is required by date of hire. Applicants should prepare a curriculum vitae (including lists of publications, conference talks, awards, grants, etc.) and a list of the names of two references and send them to Department Chair before the application deadline (October 20, 2019). A hired faculty member will work closely with Prof. Keisuke Goda and his research staff and students in Goda Lab (http://www.goda.chem.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp) and also with Prof. Robert Campbell (http://campbellweb.chem.ualberta.ca).

3.     Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent in any field of science or engineering. Strong motivation for education for graduate and undergraduate students.
