Applications are invited for PhD positions and research assistants in machine learning at Aalto University, Finland. These are fully funded positions for the broad topic of machine learning with large number output categories/labels, covering aspects including (i) development of deep learning algorithms for large output spaces, (ii) learning with missing labels/feedback in search and recommendation systems, (iii) few/zero shot learning, (iv) multi-modal learning.

Requirements: Strong background in Linear Algebra, and probability/statistics. Excellent programming skills in python, and experience with deep learning frameworks (such as PyTorch).
