We’re inviting submissions to a special issue of the Frontiers in Remote Sensing journal on "Advanced Artificial Intelligence for Remote Sensing: Methods and Applications in Earth and Environmental Monitoring".

This special issue seeks to address critical gaps in remote sensing by fostering interdisciplinary dialogue on the integration of state-of-the-art AI technologies with remote sensing analysis, emphasizing both methodological rigor and practical relevance.

Topics of interest submissions are welcomed across the following themes (but not limited to):

• Multi-Modality Data Fusion
• Cross-Domain Adaptation & Generalization
• Benchmark Datasets
• Foundation Models for Remote Sensing
