The Computer Vision Group at Yahoo Research NYC is looking for an outstanding PhD intern Research Scientist for the Summer 2017. 

We are looking for candidates with expertise in Computer Vision and Deep Learning, with prior research experience in: large-scale visual recognition, language and vision, video understanding, video summarization, computational aesthetics and creativity, and generative modeling.

We are located at the heart of Manhattan, New York -- just a few steps from the Times Square. 

The candidate will work on research projects and have a chance to publish at top-tier conferences in Computer Vision and Multimedia. The candidate will work with a team of Research Scientists and Engineers tackling real-world problems involving Yahoo's web-scale multimedia data (e.g., Flickr, Tumblr, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance, etc.).
