Please be advised of the following internship opportunity:

Internship: Computer Vision Internship at Xerox
Group: Computer Vision Group, Xerox Research Centre Europe
Location: Grenoble, France

Proposer: Naila Murray
Duration: 4 to 6 months
Start Date: between April and June, 2016

Title: Salient object detection.

Description: This internship will involve investigating salient object detection techniques in the context of object detection and tracking. The successful applicant will be given the freedom and flexibility to explore his/her solutions, and will also have the guidance and support of experienced full-time Xerox researchers that work on this topic.

Requirements:
• Enrollment in a graduate program (PhD program is a plus)
• Strong knowledge in computer vision and in machine learning
• Strong development skills in either C/C++, Matlab, or Python
• Fluent in written and oral English
• Highly motivated

I am a CS graduate student in Lamar University, Texas, US. My concentration is Computer Vision and Machine Learning. And, I have been doing college projects in this field. I am very interested in this internship and available this summer 2016.
