Fatima Predoctoral Fellowship 2022 - Call for Fellows

Hello all!
I am the Fellows coordinator of the Fatima Fellowship 2022 and I think the program might be of interest to some of you.

The Fellowship is a 9-month program in which computer science students from around the world who are planning on applying to top PhD programs, work with current PhD students/researchers on research projects, to strengthen their applications. This program is currently being sponsored by Hugging Face.

Who’s eligible?
Any student around the world who is interested in applying to PhD programs in 2022 in computer science or any of its subfields such as machine learning is eligible. We expect most applicants to be juniors, seniors, or Master’s students, but this is not necessarily a criterion for the fellowship.

What are the expectations of Fellows?
Fellows should expect to be actively engaged in a research project with their research mentor from April to October (10 - 20 hrs/week of independent research + 1 hr/week meeting with their mentors). From October to December, Fellows will focus on preparing their PhD applications, but may continue to wrap up/publish their research projects.
