We are pleased to invite paper submissions to the Fifth Workshop on Multimodal Machine Learning in Low-Resource Languages (MMLow 2026), co-located with AACL-IJCNLP 2026, to be held on November 09-10, 2026, in Hengqin, China.

MMLow 2026 provides an international forum for researchers and practitioners working at the intersection of multimodal machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, speech technologies, and low-resource languages. The workshop aims to foster research on inclusive, culturally grounded, and trustworthy AI systems that support underrepresented languages and communities.

Topics of Interest

We welcome original and unpublished contributions related to, but not limited to:

• Low-Resource and Inclusive Multimodal AI
• Multimodal Safety, Hate Speech, and Social Media
• Core Multimodal Technologies
• Retrieval, Generation, and Applications
• Multimodal Pretraining, Translation, and Resource Efficiency
• Evaluation and Preservation
