It is my pleasure to announce new RA and PhD positions in the newly established Center of Excellence within the Technical University Darmstadt (near Frankfurt Germany) and Hessian.AI. Job opening: Research Assistants / PhD Candidates (all genders) - Research Labs of the Cluster of Excellence Reasonable Artificial Intelligence (RAI) 

The groundbreaking advances in artificial intelligence are currently based on the brute-force scaling of resources. We, on the other hand, are rethinking and redeveloping AI at its core. Reasonable Artificial Intelligence (RAI) is giving rise to richer, more robust AI systems that inherently possess the abilities to think, learn, interact, and adapt.

Our four RAI Research Labs are offering several doctoral candidate positions starting January 1, 2026. Technical University Darmstadt is the lead institution. Researchers from other universities, including those in Bremen, Frankfurt am Main, Saarbrücken, Tübingen, and Würzburg, are also involved.
