----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are pleased to announce the 14th International Conference on Data Science to (CODS 2025) will be held in Dhirubhai Ambani University, Gandhinagar, India, on December 13-16, 2026 as a fully physical conference.

CODS (also known as CODS-COMAD between 2018 and 2024) is the premier data centric conference in India. The inaugural edition of CODS was held in Delhi in 2014. In 2018, the conference brought together - and continues to value and cherish, the name reversal notwithstanding - the Database community of the COMAD conference, which originated in 1989.  The conference invites researchers in the field of data science, data management, data mining, machine learning, and artificial intelligence,  as well as papers describing the design, implementation and results of solutions of such advances to real-world problems. This year we introduce a new track on AI for Science, with a starting focus on Life Sciences and Earth Sciences.

- CALL FOR PAPERS AND PROPOSALS -

MAIN TRACK

The main track invites archival and non-archival papers describing innovative and original research contributions in the areas of data science, data management, data mining, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, as well as papers describing the design, implementation and results of solutions of such advances to real-world problems. Papers can range from theoretical contributions to systems and algorithms to experimental research and benchmarking to design, implementation and results of solutions for application of data science techniques to real-world problems. Authors of all accepted papers (archival and non-archival) must present their work at the conference. For more details visit:

AI FOR BIOLOGY

The AI for Biology track invites submission of abstracts describing original research contributions in the interface of AI/ML and Biology. These may include the application of AI/ML to address biological questions ("AI for Biology") or the development of AI methods inspired by biological systems ("Biology for AI"). Submissions can range from theoretical contributions to benchmarking, to design, implementation, and results of novel AI/ML methods applied to biological problems. Abstracts are limited to 250 words and can correspond to recently published/accepted/submitted papers, or ongoing work. All abstracts will undergo rigorous peer review. Authors of all accepted abstracts will present posters at the conference. Selected accepted abstracts will also be invited for flash talks. YOUNG RESEARCHERS' SYMPOSIUM

The Young Researchers' Symposium invites extended abstract submissions from students who are currently pursuing PhD/ Masters/ Bachelors. This is a unique opportunity for young scholars to network within the research community and receive feedback from peers, faculty and industry researchers on their on-going research. We invite submissions on the topics that align with the CFP of the CODS conference main track. RISING STAR AWARD

The Young Researchers' Symposium invites applications for the Rising Star Award. This recognition aims to reward outstanding senior doctoral students and early-career researchers who have demonstrated an exceptional track record of research excellence and measurable impact in the areas of data science, data management, data mining, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Five selected awardees will be formally recognized at the conference and honored with this prestigious award. Partial travel grants will be available for  all awardees. Applications are open till Aug 24, 2026. For submission deadline, eligibility and application requirements, visit: https://ikdd.acm.org/cods-2026/rising-star-award.php
