We are excited to invite you to contribute to the First Workshop on Generative AI for Recommender Systems and Personalization at KDD 2024 in Barcelona, Spain. This inaugural workshop aims to explore the advanced applications of Generative AI in crafting next generation recommender systems and personalized user experiences, leveraging the latest in Large Language Models (LLMs) and other generative technologies.

Call for papers:

We welcome submissions that utilize generative models to innovate within the spheres of recommendation and personalization. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Generative AI for multimodal and sequential modeling in recommender systems.
• Personalized generative retrieval and recommendation models.
• Instruction-tuned recommender systems.
• LLM-driven personalized dialogue systems.
• Personalized text and image generation.
• Privacy, fairness, explainability, and transparency in personalized generative AI systems.
• Efficiency and scalability of LLM-driven systems.
• Evaluation of LLM-driven personalization and recommendation systems.

• Submission Deadline: May 28, 2024
• Acceptance Notification: June 28, 2024
• Workshop Date: August 25 or 26, 2024

 

Submission Instructions:

• Papers should be up to 5 pages, excluding references and supplementary materials.
• Submissions must be anonymized for double-blind review.
