Dear all!
The Data Science Techniques for Datasets on Mental and Neurodegenerative Disorders workshop, which will be a part of the IEEE SDS2023, aims to discuss approaches and challenges for developing data science techniques machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) algorithms for detecting neurodegenerative diseases (NDs), and mental disorders (MDs). Thus, we have referred to the workshop as DS Techniques for Datasets on MDs and NDs. The workshop will provide a comprehensive discussion of data science techniques for biomedical datasets related to mental and neurodegenerative disorders. The goal of this workshop is to allow mental health researchers to expand their knowledge of advanced data science techniques while enabling data scientists to improve their methods with feedback from clinical audiences. For more information related to workshop date, duration, and schedule refer to the landing page of the workshop.
We invite high-quality submissions presenting data science techniques, machine learning and deep learning algorithms for detecting and diagnosing NDs and MDs. Submissions should have a maximum length of three (3) pages for lightning talks and one (1) page for poster presentation, with unlimited pages for references and appendices.
Note that for:
1) One page submission must be related to initial results from ongoing research projects using new approaches.
2 ) Three pages must be related to new results from a recently (i.e., not more than six months from 24 March 2023) published article in medical and ML journals with impact factors higher than 2.0.
Note that the submitted title and content should be different from the published article's title and content, and with less than 20% self- plagiarism.
The submission deadline has been extended to 4 April 2023 (AoE). All submissions must be made through the form
