**Description**
Candidates should have completed, or be near completion of, a Ph.D. with a strong international publication record in areas such as machine learning, optimization, statistics, applied mathematics (probability, PDE,...), theoretical computer science, or related fields.
They will lead innovative research projects in a stimulating, open, and international research environment with a highly talented and motivated team, embedded in a strong network of academic and industrial collaborators.
A non-exhaustive list of topics currently investigated by the team includes the theory of neural networks, transfer and meta-learning, self-supervised learning, large-scale optimization and MCMC, and robust machine learning.
