Call for Papers SBIA 2008

Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, October 26-30, 2008

http://www.sbia2008.ufba.br/

Sponsored by the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC)

INTRODUCTION

As has occurred since 2002, the 19th Brazilian Symposium on Artificial Intelligence (SBIA) and the 10th Brazilian Symposium on Artificial Neural Networks (SBRN) will be collocated, this time also with the Brazilian Symposium on Intelligent Robotics (JRI), in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, October 26-30, 2008.

SBIA is the leading conference in Brazil for presentation of research and applications in Artificial Intelligence. Since 1995, SBIA has become an international conference, with papers written in English, international program committee and keynote speakers, and proceedings published by Springer-Verlag in the LNAI Series. Since 1996, SBIA is a biennial event.

Besides the rich scientific program, with several talks and tutorials given by distinguished invited speakers and technical papers, there are also the cultural highlights of Salvador: one of the most beautiful cities in Brazil, with very nice beaches and islands, rich culture and great food!  Therefore, we invite the AI, ANN and Robotics communities to join us and make this event a very exciting one. Hope to see you there!
