The University of Exeter is recruiting a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Artificial Intelligence.   The Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence in the Computer Science Department will contribute to extending the research profile of Artificial Intelligence, Nature-Inspired Computing, and Optimisation at Exeter, particularly in areas related or complementary to the field for which the department has a strong research preference. We are particularly interested in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science, Human-AI Interaction, Optimisation, Nature-Inspired Computing and Machine Learning. However, we will consider candidates with expertise in any areas of Computer Science.

The post will include research, teaching and related administration in Computer Science; collaborate with College and the University of Exeter as a whole in order to develop and support Computer Science research programmes and the College’s research programme.

The starting salary will be from £36,382 up to £47,419 depending on qualifications and experience. Generous holiday allowances, flexible working, pension scheme and relocation package.
