Hello,

My group at King's College London is recruiting multiple PhD students in areas such as multimodal AI, statistical machine learning, and AI for healthcare. Below are current openings. The PhD opportunities will also be updated at https://yunpengli.ac/opening/:

  1. A fully-funded PhD studentship on Multimodal Machine Learning for Healthcare
    • Start date: June/October 2025
    • Application deadline: 20th March 2025
  2. An EPSRC DRIVE-Health Centre for Doctoral Training project on Multimodal Dental AI with Uncertainty Quantification
    • Start date: October 2025
    • Application deadline: 30th January 2025

The PhD students will be based at the Centre for Oral, Clinical & Translational Sciences in the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences at King's College London. Students will also have access to resources across the College, including the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences.

A Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or similar (a First Class or good Upper Second Class Honours degree, or the equivalent from an overseas university). Prior research experience is highly desirable.
