Postdoctoral position at MBZUAI: Parallel training of biomedical imaging foundation models

At the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), we are looking for a postdoctoral research associate to design parallel systems for training biomedical imaging foundation models over many GPUs, as well as apply these systems to train new foundation models. This position will support on-going research programs in our lab, including managing sub-projects, mentoring students, and writing publications and other deliverables.

Qualifications
-Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Biology, or related fields.
-A good track record of publications in either parallel machine learning or computer vision, and a strong willingness to learn about the other domain (parallel ML or CV).
-Experience with biomedical image data is a plus, particularly cryo-electron microscopy data.
-Excellent analytical and oral/written communication skills.
