ISCB GMDS 2026: Call for Abstracts, GMDS Full Papers, and ISCB Awards

We are excited to invite your contributions to the ISCB GMDS 2026 Conference (https://iscbgmds2026.info), which we are organizing in Freiburg, Germany, from September 27 to October 1, 2026. The conference theme "Big Data, Small Data, Your Data – Transitions in the Age of Biomedical AI" addresses recent developments in the medical data sciences, in particular biostatistics, medical bioinformatics, medical informatics, and epidemiology.

There already is an exciting draft program with four keynotes by leading international experts, along with a line-up of more than 20 invited speakers in invited sessions that cover a broad range of state-of-the-art developments in the fields. Now there is the chance to complement this with your contributed talk or poster, such that we as a community can build a comprehensive view of the future of our disciplines.

Submissions are now open for contributed Abstracts, GMDS Full Papers and ISCB Awards. The submission deadline is March 31, 2026. Discover more about the awards on our website.
