We have an opening for a postdoctoral research fellow in the Autonomous Agents Research Group (https://agents.inf.ed.ac.uk) led by Dr. Stefano Albrecht at the University of Edinburgh.

The successful candidate will join an existing team to develop novel algorithms for reinforcement learning (RL) and/or multi-agent RL (MARL). This position comes with a lot of freedom to develop own projects in these areas.

The position can start as soon as possible (from 1 May onward) and finishes end of August 2024. The salary is in the range UE07:32-33 (£38,474-£39,592).

Requirements:
- completed PhD (or very close to completion) in area of CS, AI, ML, robotics, or related
- strong knowledge of RL or MARL, evidenced by publications in these areas
- strong coding skills
