Dear ML enthusiasts,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing on behalf of the organising committee of the 2nd Workshop on Epistemic Intelligence in Machine Learning (EIML@ICML 2026), to be held on 10 July 2026 in Seoul, South Korea, co-located with ICML 2026.
The workshop brings together researchers from machine learning, statistics, philosophy of science, and decision theory to explore uncertainty quantification, AI safety, hallucination detection, continual learning, and related areas centred on reasoning under epistemic uncertainty.
If your expertise and interests matches, we would be honoured to have you serve as a reviewer. The review period runs from 27 April to 27 May 2026, and we anticipate a manageable load of 2–3 papers per reviewer.
But hey, everyone is busy, so why review for EIML?
- First-hand access to the latest research. You will see cutting-edge work in epistemic uncertainty, AI safety, and generative AI before it is widely published — a rare window into where the field is heading.
- Give authors the review they deserve. If you have ever received a review from someone clearly outside your area, you know how frustrating it can be. By joining our panel, you help ensure that submissions get the expert, constructive feedback that researchers — especially early-career ones — genuinely need.
