Trustworthy Interactive Decision-Making with Foundation Models Workshop (TIDMwFM)@IJCAI 2024
This forward-looking workshop provides a forum to shape discussion on human-centric techniques that promote ethical and trustworthy integration of foundation models into interactive decision support systems. Sessions will review progress in areas like safe reinforcement learning and large language models (LLMs) based agents while also delineating open challenges around uncertainty quantification, safety evaluation, preference alignment, and responsible deployment in interactive settings.
Topics:
- Open-world agents using foundation models for interactive decision support
- Interactive interfaces for recommendation systems using foundation models
- Techniques for uncertainty quantification in interactive AI systems
- Methods for bias detection and mitigation in embodied agents
- Analysis of trust and transparency issues in human-AI collaborative decision making
- Interactive elicitation of human preferences and values for AI alignment
- Evaluation of model robustness in interactive settings
- Advances in explainable agency for fostering appropriate reliance
- Frameworks and best practices for responsible real-world deployment
Important Dates:
- Workshop date: August 3, 2024
- Submission opens: April 1, 2024
- Submission deadline: May 9, 2024
- Acceptance notification: June 4, 2024
- Camera-ready and poster upload deadline: TBD
Submission Guidelines:
We invite submissions of abstracts up to 4 pages, excluding references that discuss early-stage or mature work related to the topics above. Accepted abstracts will be presented as spotlight talks within thematic sessions at the workshop. We also welcome expressions of interest for demonstration sessions showcasing relevant systems.
The submissions in the workshop will be non-archival and does not preclude from future submission at other venues. TIDMwFM@IJCAI'24 Workshop is now accepting submissions via
Openreview.
