TU Wien Informatics, the computer science department at the Technical University of Vienna, is looking for candidates interested in doing a postdoc (or PhD) in machine learning. Vienna has repeatedly earned the title as the most liveable city in the world and TU Wien Informatics has consistently been ranked among the top 100 computer science departments in the world.

We are in the process of setting up the machine learning research unit and the official openings will be available in early 2020. In the meantime, please get in touch by email or in person if you are attending NIPS. If expressing your interest, please include one PDF document containing:
- cover letter (explaining why you are interested)
- CV (including esteem indicators such as THE/QS ranks for your academic institutions)
- description of your research interests (can be brief at this stage but would ideally somehow connect to mine)
- transcripts of marks (as far as available)
If you additionally include a recent demonstration of your scientific abilities (such as a paper, thesis, or report), that will also be appreciated.
