Dear Fellow ML Researchers!
On behalf of the organising committee, I’m excited to announce that
the Symposium on Probabilistic Machine Learning (ProbML 2026), the
newly revamped edition of the Symposium on Advances in Approximate
Bayesian Inference (AABI), will be co-located with ICML 2026 in Seoul,
South Korea. ProbML will serve as a forum dedicated to the theory and
practice of probabilistic machine learning, with a particular (but not
exclusive) emphasis on Bayesian methods.
This year, we feature an expanded scope with two primary areas of focus:
Area 1: Foundations of probabilistic ML and (approximate) Bayesian
inference, decision-making under uncertainty, as well as connections
to other areas of AI.
Area 2 (New!): Applications to Healthcare and Climate Change. This new
area aims to strengthen communication between methodology and
application researchers.
As with AABI, we are pleased to invite submissions to three tracks:
(i) Proceedings track published by PMLR; (ii) Workshop track for
extended abstract and non-archival; and (iii) Fast-track for papers
recently accepted at major ML venues (e.g. ICML 2025, NeurIPS 2025,
ICLR 2026, AISTATS 2026, UAI 2026, ICML 2026, as well as JMLR and
TMLR).
The submission deadline for all tracks is March 20th, AoE.
