Call for Workshop Proposals | NCVPRIPG-2024: 9th National Conference on Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Image Processing and Graphics

Hello, greetings of the day. We hope you are doing well.
The 9th National Conference on Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Image Processing, and Graphics (NCVPRIPG 2024) will be held at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Trivandrum, Kerala from 19th to 21st July 2024. NCVPRIPG 2024 is being organized by the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology Trivandrum in association with the Indian Unit for Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence (IUPRAI). NCVPRIPG aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from the allied areas of computer vision, graphics, image processing, and pattern recognition in order to promote community-wide discussions of ideas that will influence and foster continued research in the field.
We invite workshop proposals for the NCVPRIPG 2024 at IIST Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Accepted workshops will be held at the same venue as the conference. Workshops will be 3 hours long. It is possible to propose a combined workshop + challenge (within the 3-hour limit for the event). Please note that the challenge guidelines are available separately, and mention them in your proposal if you wish to configure your event this way.
These workshops are expected to highlight current topics related to technical and business issues in computer vision, pattern recognition, and image processing, including, but not restricted to:
Applications of Transformers in vision, medical imaging or other related areas
Applications of Generative modelling using diffusion models
Applications of Deep Reinforcement techniques for various vision and image-related works.
Each Workshop Proposal must include (please follow the following order in your proposal):
Title of the workshop
Workshop Organizers (names, affiliation, and contact information)
Scope and topics of the workshop (max 1 page)
Planned format of the workshop, including a tentative schedule
If a plenary (high profile) speaker is being included, the workshop duration can be extended to 4 hours. Please mention the name and affiliation of such a speaker in case of such a plan.
