PhD Position in Graph Learning at the University of Vienna, Austria

A PhD student position is available within the Machine Learning with Graphs group at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Vienna. We are looking for a highly motivated applicant with a solid background and strong interest in machine learning, graph theory, and their mathematical foundations to join our team. The successful candidate will pursue research in the broad area of graph machine learning and may address both theoretical and practical questions. The aim is to analyse and develop novel, well-founded methods and learning algorithms that extend the boundaries of existing techniques - for example, with respect to expressivity, generalization, interpretability, or scalability.
