The WACV Doctoral Consortium provides a unique opportunity for students, who are close to finishing or who have recently finished their doctorate degree, to interact with experienced researchers in computer vision. A senior member of the community will be assigned as a mentor for each student. All students and mentors will attend a Doctoral Consortium meeting/luncheon, giving the students an opportunity to discuss their ongoing research and career plans with their mentor. In addition, each student will present a poster, either describing their thesis research or a single recent paper, to the other participants and their mentors. For additional information please see
https://wacv2022.thecvf.com/node/91.
Eligibility: Students must be conducting
research in computer vision, be within 2 years before or 6 months after
graduating with their doctoral degree, and not have participated in other prior
Doctoral Consortium events, such as one hosted at CVPR.
Travel Awards: Details are to be determined, but reimbursements and/or registration fee waivers will be provided to selected students to help offset travel costs. Virtual attendance will also be an option.
Submission Guidelines: Students that meet the eligibility requirements should submit their application materials via CMT following the guidelines on this page:
