SafeAD
is a venture capital backed research spinoff of the Karlsruhe
Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany.
Our
mission is to bring autonomous driving to the masses. Therefore we
develop a next-generation autonomous driving stack: It does not rely
on expensive sensors or fragile HD maps like our competitors but
follows a mapless, vision-first, all-AI philosophy.
In this role, you’ll:
Improve our AI-based multi-camera data fusion module
Work on the temporal memory of our network
Work on a complete scene prediction based on our novel scene representation
Enhance our street topology inference network head
Improve our auto-labeling pipeline
Test the software stack in our self-driving vehicle
At
a minimum we’d like you to have:
MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Robotics or equivalent experience
Experience solving problems using Machine Learning with Tensorflow and/or PyTorch
Strong experience programming in C++ and Python
A strong team player and learning mindset
It’s
preferred if you have:
Hands-on experience in the fields of autonomous driving and computer vision
Experience in applying machine learning to 3D scene understanding tasks
Have worked in mid to large-sized software projects
