The Machine Learning research unit at TU Wien is looking for excellently qualified PhD students . Vienna has repeatedly earned the title as the most liveable city in the world and the computer science faculty of TU Wien consistently ranks among the top 100 departments in the world.

The research topic for the PhD position is open and can be discussed but we are mostly interested in algorithmical, computational, and learning theoretic aspects of machine learning. Additionally, we are also interested in applications to Chemistry, related to the topics of the Marie-Curie project TACsy (DC 5 and/or DC 13).
