We invite submissions to the 2nd Edition of the DG-EBF Workshop on "Domain Generalization: Evolution, Breakthroughs, and Future Horizons", held in conjunction with CVPR 2026 in Denver, USA on June 3–4, 2026.

Workshop Website: https://dg-ebf.github.io/2026/

Motivation: Domain Generalization (DG) is vital for addressing domain shifts in critical real-world applications such as healthcare, autonomous driving, and environmental monitoring. Despite considerable progress, much of the existing DG research remains limited to single tasks, single modalities, and straightforward domain shifts within closed-world environments. This workshop aims to map the trajectory of DG from its foundational breakthroughs to the next frontiers — fostering innovative research and cross-disciplinary collaborations for more complex and diverse real-world conditions.

Topics of Interest:

  • Expanding Domain Generalization Beyond Classification and Images (object detection, VQA, video, 3D vision)
  • Tackling Extreme Shifts and Long-tail Events
  • Integrating Domain Generalization with Model Calibration
  • Generalizing Multimodal Models Across Domains
  • Domain Generalization in Open-World Settings
  • Enhancing Multitask Model Generalization
  • Domain Generalization Beyond Natural Images and Supervised Settings (remote sensing, medical imaging)

Submission Tracks:

  • Archival Track (Long Papers): Up to 8 pages (excl. references), included in official CVPR proceedings
  • Non-Archival Track (Short Papers): Up to 4 pages (excl. references), linked on the workshop webpage
  • CVPR 2026 Dual Submissions: Accepted; non-archival, linked on the workshop webpage

All submissions must follow the CVPR 2026 paper template and be submitted via the CMT submission system: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/DGEBF2026/Submission/Index
