We are hiring a passionate researcher for one PhD position under a project “Machine learning assisted inverse design of novel auxetic core architectures for improved blast resistance of sandwich structures”
with Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of
Computer Science & Information Systems at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani
Candidates with M.E./MTech. or an equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering/Applied Mechanics/ Material Science/ Design/ CAD/Aerospace Engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply. Candidates with basic Machine learning or Python programming knowledge will be preferred.

One PhD scholarship for data mining, data science, machine learning, computational omics, systems biology, biophysics, and infectious diseases research is available at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad, India.
The research team consists of Prof. Nishith Gupta (Hyderabad), Prof. Poonam Goyal (Pilani), and Prof. Aneesh Chivukula (Hyderabad).
