Lecturer or Associate Professor Position at UCL

UCL’s Department of Computer Science (CS) is the top-ranked computer science department in the UK. We are seeking a Lecturer / Associate Professor to carry out research, teaching and administration within the Department, in the areas of machine learning, information retrieval, network science, data analytics, and natural language processing, particularly with regard to digital health, which encompasses digital epidemiology, mobile health (mHealth), health information technology (IT), wearable devices, and personalized medicine.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a strongly related discipline, with an advanced knowledge of machine learning, big data analytics, network science, information retrieval, and/or natural language processing. Candidates should have experience of working within the digital health domain and experience of interdisciplinary research. Digital health is broadly defined, and encompasses digital epidemiology, mobile health (mHealth), health information technology (IT), wearable devices, and personalized medicine. However, exceptional candidates in other areas are encouraged to apply.
