**Description**

The EPFL Theory of Machine Learning Laboratory in Lausanne, Switzerland, headed by Prof. Nicolas Flammarion is recruiting a postdoc specialized in machine learning.
 
A non exhaustive list of topics that are currently investigated by the team include large-scale MCMC and optimization algorithms as well as robust machine learning and statistics.
 
**Candidate profile **
 
Candidates should have completed, or be near completion of, a PhD with a strong international publication record in areas such as machine learning, optimization, statistics, theoretical computer science or related fields.
