I am looking to hire a postdoc

       starting Sep. or Oct. 1, 2021;
       for a 1-year funded project on studying graph neural networks;
       with a focus on anomaly detection, automating (unsupervised) model selection, and applications to real-world transaction/accounting networks.  (The term may be renewed for another year, upon mutual interest.)

The position can be remote-only, in-person (once parties are vaccinated and immune) or a hybrid.

Please contact me (at <lak...@andrew.cmu.edu>) with a brief summary of background and CV;
            if you are an outstanding graduating student who is interested in the aforementioned subject areas,
            and have the appropriate background.

Note that a written reference from your PhD advisor will also be requested upon mutual interest.

The position will remain open until filled.

Thank you!

US based applicants only - since visa applications are suspended currently and you need a valid visa to be hired at CMU even if the work could be remote.
