ACM Multimedia 2019: Final Call for Papers (1 April)

ACM Multimedia is the premier international conference in the area of multimedia within the field of computer science. Multimedia research focuses on integration of the multiple perspectives offered by different digital modalities including images, text, video, music, sensor data, spoken audio.

Since 1993, ACM Multimedia has been bringing together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to present innovative research results and discuss recent advancements. A special part of the conference is the interactive art program, which explores the boundaries of computer science and art. The conference is structured around four themes (alphabetical):

- Engaging users with multimedia
- Multimedia experience
- Multimedia systems
- Understanding multimedia content

Submission deadlines:
- Paper submission deadline (Abstract): Monday 1 April (23:59 AOE) (Register your paper by submitting an abstract.)
- Paper submission deadline (PDF submission): Monday 8 April (23:59 AOE) (Submit the final PDF of your full paper.)

In addition to the regular-paper track, ACM Multimedia features tutorials, a Grand Challenge competition, an open-source software competition, a Brave New Ideas session, a doctoral symposium, panels, demos, workshops, and artwork. The Grand Challenges and the Workshops have now been announced:

Additionally: Authors of main-conference papers at ACM Multimedia 2017 or 2018 are eligible to make a submission to the new Reproducibility Track (deadline 1 April). Accepted reproducibility submissions will earn an ACM "Results Replicated" badge for their paper and be presented as posters at the conference. Full details are available at:
