I want a secure FreeBSD 15.1 installation completed before going online (especially in light of the ongoing AUR repository difficulties and corruptions https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/could-what-has-just-happened-to-the-aur-happen-to-freebsd-ports.102954/post-764340).

To that end, my goal is to set up local repositories on my machine for different software types and stocking them there via USB drives, rather than visiting the online update(8) or pkg(8) mirrors to download the units directly into my machine.

There seem to be lots of folks offering some such or another service doing similar things, but if Packages are the future, FreeBSD should be doing this before 16.0 is released.

Is there a way to download a complete precompiled package binary equivalent to the ports tree included in the FreeBSD-15.1-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1.iso?
