Greetings all,
Just an advisory to those who may need it.
I have successfully installed FreeBSD 14.3 onto this 2 TB USB drive.
I don't know if its a BIOS idiosyncracy with this older Dell 980 box,
but none of the BSDs appear to pick up all USB connections, unless all
other USB drives are disconnected.
