Environmental Awareness

Dear members,

 

As you already know, this week at University was dedicated to the environment where a three-day Environmental Fair Campaign was held from 23rd to 25th March.

 

MKSU participated in this campaign by planting a tree on campus.

We also teamed up with GħST to organise cleanups on campus, as well as to create three posters with the aim of increasing awareness of how one can safeguard the environment with some thought, an eye for saving energy and some effort. These three posters are also attached in this email for personal use by our members.

Care for the environment represents a challenge for all of humanity. It is a matter of a common and universal duty, that of respecting a common good.

In the same spirit, we urge you to participate in this year's Earth Hour 2011 by switching off the lights for an hour today at 8:30pm. Together we can make a change!
