The MKSU subcommittees are now open. There are three subcommittees
that are currently recruiting:
Members' Subcommitttee - This subcommittee is tasked with organising
social activities for our members. If help is needed in other
activities, the members, through this subcommittee, may also help if
necessary.
Fundraising Subcommittee - This subcommittee shall be tasked with organising
fundraising activities, such as car boot sales, carwashes, bazaars, etc.
These fundraising activities are essential to the functioning of the
logistics of
the organisation.
Battle of the Bands 2010 Subcommittee - This subocmmittee will be
tasked with the entire organisation and production of the MKSU Battle
of the Bands. A first attempt for such an event was carried out last
year, with outstanding success. The roles required within this
subcommittee vary. The work involves searching for sponsors, contacting
people to act as judges, comperes, and ushers, designing posters, booklets
and tickets, finding people/acting as crew, bartenders, ushers, on the day, and
everything in between.
